New IBO Program Terms and Conditions
The New IBO Program or My Rewards (“Program”) is aimed at and available to those who join as a new Amway IBO (“New IBO”)
This Program is valid from 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2024 or until amended by Amway. The Program is not available to IBOs who are currently or have previously joined Amway. Any product coupons attained under this Program are valid for use in the country of issue only. Product coupons issued by Amway of Australia and/or Amway of New Zealand cannot be used in other markets.
If you are unsure of any part of this Program, you are encouraged to contact your upline IBO for clarification.
5.1 FIRST PRODUCT COUPON DISCOUNT
5.1(a) After completing the registration process, the New IBO will receive a first product coupon discount (which can be applied to the IBO's next order in 24 hours) if they meet the following requirements outlined here below:
- they purchase product in their first purchase with Amway (not including the $29 Registration fee and/or any Starter Kits purchased as part of the registration process);
- the order is placed within 30 days of joining the business;
- the order is placed during the Promotion Period; and
- the new IBO has a minimum 50 PPV order in line with the above terms and conditions.
5.1(b) The first product coupon discount is valid for 90 days and will be added as a credit to the New IBO’s account. The value of the discount is based on the order PPV:
- 50 – 99.9 PPV = $50 product coupon
- 100 - 199.9 PPV = $100 product coupon
- 200+ PPV = $200 product coupon.
5.2 SECOND PRODUCT COUPON DISCOUNT
5.2(a) The New IBO will receive a second product coupon discount (which can be applied to the IBO’s next order in 24 hours) if they meet the following requirements outlined here below:
- they purchase product in their second purchase with Amway (not including their first order or the $29 Registration fee and/or any Starter Kits purchased as part of the registration process);
- the order is placed within 60 days of joining the business;
- the order is placed during the Promotion Period; and
- the new IBO has a minimum 50 PPV order in line with the above terms and conditions.
5.2(b) The second product coupon discount is to be used on another purchase (of 50 PPV or more) during the Promotion Period. The discount is valid for 90 days and will be added as a credit to the New IBO’s account. The value of the product coupon discount is based on the order PPV:
- 50 – 99.9 PPV = $50 product coupon
- 100 + PPV = $100 product coupon.
The product coupon discounts will be available on the IBO’s Amway account up to 24 - 48 hours after the eligible product order has been made and are valid for up to 90 days of the qualifying product order date. Each coupon discount must be used in a single transaction of 50 PPV or more.
5.2(c) Product coupon discounts must not be misused in manipulation of the Amway Compensation Plan. Misuse of a product coupon discount will occur in the following instances:
- When a New IBO purchases product with the coupon discount in order to receive the next coupon discount, and subsequently returns products that amounted to receipt of that discount. This is subject to Amway’s 90 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Amway will use its discretion to determine when such misuse occurs. If Amway determines that product return has amounted to a misuse of the coupon discounts, the New IBO may, at Amway’s discretion, no longer be eligible to participate in or benefit from the Program.
- When a New IBO redeems a product coupon without activating their Amway business. The product coupon discount is an incentive for IBOs who have activated their business. Amway will use its discretion to determine when such misuse occurs. If an IBO redeems product coupons without activating their business, and if Amway determines that product coupon redemption to be a misuse of the product coupon discounts, the New IBO may, at Amway’s discretion, no longer be eligible to participate in or benefit from the Program.
- When a sponsoring IBO redeems a product coupon discount on behalf of the downline New IBO without consent. In order to obtain consent, the sponsor or upline IBO can fill out a Coupon Redemption Consent Form, duly signed by the New IBO providing the upline / sponsor with permission to redeem product coupon discounts on their behalf, and this form is to be presented at the Business Centre / Store when requested. Amway will use its discretion to determine when such misuse occurs. A sponsor or upline IBO whom is redeeming product coupon discounts on behalf of downline New IBOs, without the appropriate consent may be in breach of Rules of Conduct for Amway IBOs.
5.3 $200 NEW IBO INCENTIVE PRODUCT COUPON
5.3(a) A New IBO will receive a $200 incentive product coupon if they achieve 200 PPV or more in the first 90 days of joining Amway without accruing any unpaid debt from product purchases or through product returns. This PPV also includes registration packs and any registered customer PPV. If an IBO joins from 1 September 2020, the new IBO must also achieve 25 PPV from registered customer sales. The 25 PPV is part of the 200 PPV requirement.
5.3(b) If product is returned that amounted to the $200 incentive product coupon value, or any of the Program product coupon discounts are void due to product returns, the $200 New IBO Incentive Product coupon will also become void, unless product has been genuinely returned under Amway’s 90 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. This will be determined at the sole discretion of Amway. Where the return of product purchases leading to receipt of the $200 Incentive Product coupon is deemed a manipulation of the Amway Compensation Plan, the $200 Incentive Product coupon will be void and the New IBO will be liable to repaying bonuses related to the transaction back to Amway.
5.3(c) The $200 New IBO Incentive Product coupon will be awarded to eligible IBOs within a reasonable time after which the Incentive Product coupon will be applied to their IBO account. This $200 Incentive Product coupon is valid for 90 days.
5.3(d) Where an order is placed under the Program which results in payment failure, and the IBO accrues an outstanding debt with Amway, the IBO will not receive the $200 New IBO Incentive and will no longer be eligible to participate in the Program.
5.3(e) An Amway IBO is eligible to participate in the Program only once. If the IBO resigns from Amway and re-joins the business at a later date, that IBO will not be eligible to participate in or benefit from the program. The program is intended to provide New IBOs with an experience of the Amway business, and therefore is not applicable to returning IBOs. If an IBO is found to be participating in the Program more than once, this will be considered as manipulation of the program, and the IBO, at Amway’s discretion, will be no longer be eligible to participate in or benefit from the Program, and any incentives already qualified for and used, on the basis of such manipulation, will be withdrawn, with the IBO being liable to repay the value of those incentives.
5.3(f) While care is taken in the preparation and communication of the Program data, Amway specifically disclaims liability for any error or omission in the data or for the consequences accruing to the IBOs who act in reliance on the data.
5.3(g) Amway will audit all qualifications of participants in the Program and reserves the right to amend or withdraw the qualifications, or product coupon discounts of IBOs who have not complied with these terms and conditions, the IBO Rules of Conduct or who have manipulated volume to gain an advantage under the Program.
5.3(h) Participating and eligible IBOs must be in good standing with Amway. Any IBO, in the sole opinion of Amway, who deviates from these terms and conditions or the IBO Rules of Conduct, may be disqualified from the Program without notice and without liability on the part of Amway.
5.3(i) The new IBO must place the order on their IBO number to qualify for the new IBO Program. Volume to orders do not qualify for the new IBO Program.
5.4 CUSTOMER SALES INCENTIVE+
5.4 (a) The Customer Sales Incentive+ (CSI) allows the New IBO to earn 10% on every verified customer sale until the New IBO reaches 12% on the Performance Rebate schedule.
5.4 (b) To qualify for this incentive the New IBO needs to be at the 9% Performance Rebate level or below in the current month and have a verified customer sale.
5.4 (c) A verified customer sale is when an IBO personally sponsors a registered customer on Amway’s computer system and that registered customer purchases Amway product directly from Amway.
